Modric commits to Milan: new contract until 2027

AC Milan have officially extended Luka Modric's contract, with the 40-year-old Croatian midfielder signing a deal running through June 2027. Modric joined the Rossoneri as a free agent before the 2025/26 season after leaving Real Madrid. In his debut campaign, he scored twice and added three assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. The 2018 Ballon d'Or winner also played all four matches for Croatia at the 2026 FIFA World Cup this summer, recording one assist. Reports earlier indicated Modric had yet to decide on his international future, but his club future now appears settled.
