Žan Trontelj leaves Zorya: Slovenian defender heads to Slovakia

Zorya Luhansk have officially parted ways with right-back Žan Trontelj, who has completed a move to Slovak side DAC Dunajská Streda. The Ukrainian club confirmed the departure on their official website. According to Transfermarkt, the Slovak outfit paid €200,000 for the 26-year-old Slovenian — the exact sum Zorya had shelled out to Mura when they signed him in the summer of 2024. Trontelj spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Croatian side Gorica, where he put up impressive numbers: four goals and five assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. During his time with Zorya, the defender made 27 appearances and registered one assist.
