Amorim Puts Estupiñán’s Transfer Hunt on Hold

New AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim has decided to pause the search for a new club for Ecuadorian defender Pervis Estupiñán. According to Italian insider Gianluca Di Marzio, the Portuguese boss wants to assess the 28-year-old first-hand during training sessions before making any final call on his future. Earlier reports tied the left-back with a move to Premier League side Aston Villa. Milan, who finished fifth in Serie A last season and last won the Scudetto in 2022, now give Amorim the chance to evaluate Estupiñán’s qualities himself – and only then decide whether to green-light a departure.
