Buyalskyi reaches 400 appearances for Dynamo Kyiv

Dynamo Kyiv captain Vitaliy Buyalskyi has reached a significant career milestone. The first leg of the Europa League second qualifying round against PAOK - a 3-2 loss for the Ukrainian side - was the midfielder's 400th official appearance for the senior team. Buyalskyi made his competitive debut on September 21, 2011, in a Ukrainian Cup away win over Kremen (3-2). Since then, he has played 266 matches in the Ukrainian Premier League, 98 in European competitions, 30 in the Ukrainian Cup, and six in the Ukrainian Super Cup. Along the way, he has scored 90 goals. In Dynamo's all-time appearance list, Buyalskyi currently sits eighth. The leader is Oleksandr Shovkovskyi with 636 games, followed by Oleh Blokhin (582), Oleh Husiev (443), Anatoliy Demyanenko (439), Andriy Yarmolenko (431), Leonid Buryak (408), and Volodymyr Veremeev (401). With those two just ahead of him, the captain is poised to climb even higher in the club's history.
