Manchester City Extend Abdukodir Khusanov's Contract Until 2031

Manchester City have officially announced a contract extension for Uzbekistan international centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov, tying him to the club until the summer of 2031. The 22-year-old joined City in the winter transfer window of 2025 from French side Lens for a fee of €40 million. His original deal ran through 2029, but the Premier League champions have moved early to secure his long-term future. Khusanov made 37 appearances across all competitions last season and has been growing into an increasingly influential figure in Pep Guardiola's defensive setup.
