Łukasz Fabiański has officially called time on his playing career. The Polish goalkeeper announced his retirement via Instagram, closing a chapter that spanned nearly two decades at the highest level. Fabiański's last club was West Ham United, where his contract expired this summer. He made just one appearance last season, conceding a single goal. Across his club career, the veteran shot-stopper featured in 516 matches, keeping 144 clean sheets while shipping 680 goals. His journey took him from Legia Warsaw and Lech Poznań in Poland to the Premier League, where he played for Arsenal, Swansea City, and finally West Ham. Alongside former teammate Andriy Yarmolenko, Fabiański lifted the Europa Conference League trophy with the Hammers. He also won the FA Cup with Arsenal and the Polish championship with Legia. On the international stage, Fabiański earned 57 caps for Poland, recording 24 clean sheets and conceding 45 goals, serving as a reliable presence between the sticks for over a decade.
