Harvey Barnes signs new long-term contract with Newcastle United

Newcastle United have officially announced that winger Harvey Barnes has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract. The club did not disclose the exact length of the deal, but the previous agreement was set to run until the summer of 2028. "It feels great to have signed a new contract before the season starts. It's been an incredible journey and I'm really happy to extend it. When I first joined, I quickly realised how special this club is. After three years here, I'm even more convinced. I love everything - the city, the stadium, the people. I'm delighted to stay longer. Over the past few seasons I've tasted success and shared many special moments with this squad. We all want to achieve more, and I'm determined to be a key player helping the club move forward," Barnes said. Barnes joined the Magpies in 2023. Last season he made 57 appearances across all competitions, scoring 16 goals and providing six assists.
