Real Madrid breaks ground as first sports club to top €1.2 billion in annual revenue

Real Madrid has become the first sports organization in history to generate more than €1.2 billion in revenue for a single season. The club's income for the 2025/26 campaign - excluding player transfers - hit a record €1.221 billion, a 3.1% increase from the previous year, according to Diario AS. The strongest growth came from stadium-related income, which climbed 11%, and marketing revenue, which rose 6%. Operating profit before depreciation jumped 18% to €287.4 million, while net profit after taxes stood at €26.3 million. This marks the 26th consecutive season in which the Spanish powerhouse has posted a positive financial result - an unmatched streak of stability among elite sports clubs worldwide.
