PSG Concede Defeat: Diomande Bound for Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain have thrown in the towel in the race for Yan Diomande. Real Madrid have fully agreed terms with RB Leipzig for the 19-year-old Ivorian defender and also reached a personal agreement with the player. According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, PSG have now accepted that Los Blancos won the chase for the highly-rated youngster. The Parisian hierarchy has already turned its attention to other targets in the market. The deal is expected to cost Real Madrid over €130 million. PSG had long been considered the frontrunners for Diomande, but Madrid moved with greater decisiveness and speed to get the deal over the line.
