FC Kharkiv have announced the signing of Ukraine international goalkeeper Heorhiy Yermakov. The 24-year-old shot-stopper has put pen to paper on a four-year contract and will wear the number one shirt.
A product of Kyiv football, Yermakov has previously represented Shakhtar Donetsk, Oleksandriya, and Israeli giants Maccabi Haifa. Last season in Israel, he made 37 appearances, keeping 12 clean sheets.
His breakout campaign came in 2024/25 while on loan at Oleksandriya, where he finished as Ukrainian Premier League runner-up and was voted the league's best goalkeeper. That form earned him international recognition: he played for Ukraine's U-23 side at the 2024 Olympics, featured at the 2025 U-21 European Championship, and received his first senior national team call-up in May 2026.
Now Yermakov will aim to prove his quality at FC Kharkiv.
