Vinicius Jr. demands €80m signing bonus in new Real Madrid contract talks

0
Vinicius Junior's future at Real Madrid has taken a new turn as the Brazilian forward reportedly sets steep financial demands for a contract extension. According to journalist Pepe Alvarez, Vinicius has asked the Spanish giants for an €80 million signing bonus. On top of that, he wants 80% of his image rights - up from the 50% he currently holds. The move underscores the player's confidence in his market value and his ambition to maximize his earnings. Real Madrid signed Vinicius from Flamengo in 2018 for €45 million. His current deal runs until June 30, 2027, but negotiations over a new one appear to be heating up. This season, the 25-year-old has been in fine form, racking up 22 goals and 14 assists in 53 appearances across all competitions. Transfermarkt values him at €140 million.
