Real Madrid complete signing of La Liga's best young player Carlos Espí from Levante

Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of Levante striker Carlos Espí, with the Spanish giants activating his €25 million release clause. The 21-year-old forward has put pen to paper on a contract that runs until June 2031, the club confirmed on their official channels. Espí made his La Liga debut last season (2025/26) and impressed with 11 goals in 25 appearances for Levante, earning the league's Best Young Player award for players under 23. The arrival of the Spanish striker opens the door for Gonçalo García to join Fulham, while Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has made it clear he wants to keep Espí in the squad. Madrid have also reinforced this window with the signings of Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konaté, Marc Cucurella and Bernardo Silva.
