PSG close in on Zion Suzuki with loan plan attached
0
PSG have stepped up their pursuit of Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki and are ready to accept the Italian club's demands.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Parma are looking for around €30 million for the 23-year-old, and the French champions have no issue with that fee. But the deal is not just about signing Suzuki - PSG also intend to send him out on loan immediately so he can get steady first-team football elsewhere.
Despite the Japan international's likely arrival, the situation for Matvey Safonov stays unchanged. The Russian goalkeeper remains the main candidate to be PSG's No. 1 going into the 2026/27 season.
Suzuki has been with Parma since 2024, making 57 Serie A appearances and collecting 28 caps for Japan.
