Fulham nearing €50m double deal for Real Madrid pair Palacios and García

Fulham are closing in on a double deal with Real Madrid for midfielder César Palacios and forward Gonzalo García, according to Marca. The two clubs have reportedly all but agreed terms for both players. The 22-year-old García would cost the Premier League side €40 million, while the 21-year-old Palacios is valued at between €8 million and €10 million. In both cases, Fulham would acquire only 70 percent of the players' rights. Palacios made 44 appearances last season for Real Madrid's senior and youth teams, scoring 16 goals and registering five assists. García, meanwhile, featured 39 times for the first team, contributing eight goals and three assists. Fulham recently appointed former Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa as their new manager.
