Zorya open UPL season with 2-0 win over Kolos: video highlights

Zorya got their 2026/27 Ukrainian Premier League campaign off to a winning start by seeing off Kolos 2-0 at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi in Kyiv. The hosts were handed a huge advantage after just eight minutes when Mykyta Burda was sent off for a rough challenge. Kolos had to play almost the entire match a man down, yet Zorya still needed until the second half to break through. Captain Pylyp Budkivskyi scored the first goal of the new league campaign in the 70th minute, and Fedir Zadorozhnyi sealed the win with a second goal eight minutes before full time. Zorya will host Kryvbas on Sunday, August 9, while Kolos travel to Chornomorets on Saturday, August 8. Watch the best moments of the match in the video.
