De Zerbi on Mudryk: 'Misha Is Like a Son to Me'

Mykhailo Mudryk's return to action for Chelsea after his doping ban was lifted has become one of the biggest talking points in English football over the past few days. Tottenham's new head coach Roberto De Zerbi, who worked with the Ukrainian winger at Shakhtar Donetsk, was among those asked about the news. "He is like a son to me! Misha is a great guy and a top-class player. I hope he can show next season what he has not been able to demonstrate over the last two years. But I hope it will not be against Tottenham. Still, he is a wonderful boy," the Italian coach said. Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso has also spoken about Mudryk's return.
