Tottenham push for Gakpo but Liverpool stand firm

Tottenham have stepped up their interest in Cody Gakpo. According to journalist Graham Bailey, representatives of the London club have already held talks with the 27-year-old forward's entourage. Gakpo has not ruled out a move to Tottenham, yet the biggest obstacle remains Liverpool's stance. The Merseyside club have no intention of parting with the Netherlands international, whose contract runs until the summer of 2030. Transfermarkt values him at around €60 million. In the 2025/26 season, Gakpo has made 52 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals and registering six assists.
