'More than a team': Sych sends heartfelt farewell to Karpaty

Oleksiy Sych has said an emotional goodbye to Karpaty Lviv. The Dynamo Kyiv defender used Instagram to thank his former club, making clear the Lviv side means far more to him than just a team. "This club became much more than a team to me. I grew here as a footballer and as a person, through unforgettable emotions, wins and difficult moments that made me stronger," Sych wrote. He thanked everyone who had been part of the journey for their support and loyalty, and added that the time had come for a new step in his career. Sych also wished Karpaty success and a bright future. The defender has already made his Dynamo debut, appearing in the Europa League qualifier against Greek side PAOK in a 0-2 defeat.
