Champions League qualifying playoff matchups set for 2026/27

UEFA held the draw for the 2026/27 Champions League qualifying playoff in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday, August 3. Seven two-legged matchups were confirmed, with the winners earning places in the league phase.
The playoff matchups are:
Levski (Bulgaria) / Kairat (Kazakhstan) - AEK (Greece)
Celtic (Scotland) - LASK (Austria)
Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia) / Žalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania) - Viking (Norway)
Mjällby (Sweden) / Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia) - Ararat-Armenia (Armenia) / Celje (Slovenia)
Hapoel Be'er Sheva (Israel) / Red Star (Serbia) - Aarhus (Denmark) / Sabah (Azerbaijan)
Fenerbahçe (Turkey) / Sturm (Austria) - Sparta Prague (Czechia) / Lyon (France)
Olympiacos (Greece) / NEC (Netherlands) - Union (Belgium) / Bodø/Glimt (Norway)
The playoff matches are scheduled for August 18-19 and August 25-26. The winners over two legs will advance to the Champions League league phase, while the losers will continue in the Europa League league phase.
