Mudryk back in the spotlight as Chelsea fields Premier League interest

The moment Mykhailo Mudryk was back in official action, Chelsea started hearing from clubs about his future. Journalist Kieran Gill reports that at least three Premier League teams have made contact with the London club to explore a potential move for the 25-year-old winger. Coventry, managed by Frank Lampard, is one of the interested parties. Lampard previously worked with Mudryk at Chelsea, so he is familiar with what the Ukrainian can bring. A loan to Strasbourg is also under consideration, with the French side being part of the BlueCo structure. No final decision has been made, and every scenario remains open. Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023. The transfer was worth €70 million, with a further €30 million in potential bonuses. Before his suspension, the Ukrainian made 73 official appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals and registering nine assists.
