Chalobah to Como: Chelsea agree €30m deal, says Romano

Trevoh Chalobah is closing in on a move to Como. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian club and Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement for the 27-year-old center back, with the transfer fee set at €30 million. Chalobah had already agreed personal terms with Como weeks ago, committing to a long-term contract. The defender was determined to move to Italy and wanted the opportunity to play in the Champions League. A product of Chelsea's academy, Chalobah made 151 appearances for the first team, scoring eight goals and registering three assists. He won the Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and two Club World Cups with the London club.
