RB Leipzig dismiss 'Here we go' claims over Yan Diomande transfer

RB Leipzig sporting director Marcel Schäfer has rejected claims that Yan Diomande's transfer is already wrapped up. He says the recent wave of 'Here we go' announcements got ahead of reality. "A few days ago, some so-called transfer experts reported that the deal was done and gave it the 'Here we go' status. That is not true. We are not at that stage yet," Schäfer told Sky Sport Germany. Leipzig insist negotiations over the 19-year-old winger's future remain open, with no final agreement in place. The club views earlier reports from insiders as premature. Diomande, an Ivory Coast international, is coming off a strong season with the Bulls, recording 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 matches. He has also made four appearances and registered one assist at this year's World Cup.
