Mudryk to Strasbourg? Chelsea open to loan deal for Ukrainian winger

According to Foot Mercato, Chelsea is prepared to let Mykhailo Mudryk leave on loan to Strasbourg for the 2026/27 season. The club is willing to send the 25-year-old winger out after his doping suspension has been served, with a move to France shaping up as the most likely scenario. Chelsea has concluded that the team has adjusted to playing without Mudryk, so regular minutes elsewhere would be the best next step for him. Several clubs have expressed interest in the Ukrainian, but Strasbourg is viewed as the favorite. Chelsea and the French club are part of the same ownership group. A loan to a Premier League side was also discussed previously, but the priority now is the move to France. The hope is that time at Strasbourg will help Mudryk regain sharpness after his long absence and get back to his best level. He joined Chelsea from Shakhtar in January 2023. Since then, he has made 73 appearances in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists.
