Aston Villa ready £30m bid for Barcelona youngster Marc Bernal

Aston Villa are putting together a £30m offer for Marc Bernal, according to The Sun Football. The Birmingham club have made the Barcelona midfielder one of their main summer targets. Unai Emery has identified the 19-year-old Spanish player as a key priority for the transfer window. Barcelona, however, have no intention of letting him go. The Catalan side have already turned down bids in the region of £25m and continue to view Bernal as untouchable. Bernal came through Barcelona's La Masia academy and is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in the setup. He has already appeared for the first team and is part of the club's long-term plans. Last season, he recorded 33 appearances, five goals and one assist.
