Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Konstantinos Karetsas, with the Greece international arriving from Genk. The attacking midfielder, 18, has put pen to paper on a deal that runs through 30 June 2031.
The total package, including bonuses, is expected to be around €32 million, according to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg. That makes the transfer the most expensive sale in Genk's history, surpassing the €26 million Wolverhampton paid for Tolu Arokodare in September 2025.
Karetsas had been part of Genk's first-team picture since 2024 and quickly emerged as one of the club's top prospects. He made 49 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three goals and registering 14 assists. Internationally, he has already made his debut for Greece and now has 10 caps, with three goals and one assist to his name.
