Fulham complete signing of Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid

Fulham have officially completed the signing of Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid. The 22-year-old forward has agreed a deal until the summer of 2031, with an option for a further year. The fee has not been disclosed. Garcia joined Real Madrid's academy at the age of ten and worked his way up through the ranks. He scored 35 goals for the Under-19 side in 2023/24 as they completed a historic treble, then produced 25 goals and four assists for Castilla. His first senior goal for Real Madrid came in the Copa del Rey against Leganes, and his real breakout followed at the Club World Cup, where he finished as the tournament's top scorer with four goals and one assist. Last season, he made 39 appearances for the first team, scoring eight goals and adding three assists. After signing, Garcia thanked Fulham's leadership for their faith and said he is looking forward to playing in the Premier League. Fulham president Tony Khan backed the move, saying he believes the Spaniard will be a key addition and help the team under Alvaro Arbeloa. Garcia has represented Spain at youth level, scoring six goals in seven matches, and made his senior international debut this summer. He will wear the No. 7 shirt at Fulham.
