Fiorentina land João Mário from Juventus in loan deal with buy option

Juventus have officially confirmed that João Mário is joining Fiorentina. The Portuguese defender moves on loan until June 30, 2027. Fiorentina will pay €1.8 million for the deal, with the amount due within one financial year. The contract also includes a buy option: if the club exercises it, Juventus will receive an additional €9.5 million, paid in installments over three financial years. Mário arrived at Juventus in the summer of 2025 from Porto. The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Bologna and will now continue his career at Fiorentina.
