Karabakh lose Zakaria Savo for two months ahead of Dynamo Kyiv tie

Savo was hurt in the second leg of Karabakh's second-round Europa League qualifier against Bulgarian side CSKA. Both games in that tie ended 0-0, and Karabakh came up short on penalties, which meant they continued their European season in the Conference League. Up next is Dynamo Kyiv. The first leg takes place on August 6 in Lublin, Poland, where Dynamo will be the nominal home side. The return match is scheduled for August 13 in Baku. The winners advance to the Conference League playoff round, where a place in the group stage will be on the line.
