Inter Miami Dismisses De Bruyne Transfer Rumors

Inter Miami has made it clear that Kevin De Bruyne is not on its radar. A club source told ESPN that no contact has been made with the Belgian midfielder and no talks are ongoing, despite the recent wave of transfer speculation. The South Florida side is instead focused on getting the most out of its current squad in the upcoming League Cup and MLS matches. In the meantime, the club has added defensive depth by bringing in Ecuadorian defender Fricio Caicedo on loan from Costa Rican club Moravia. That deal runs through the end of the 2027 season. Inter Miami continues to look solid in league play. The team played Columbus Crew to a hard-fought 2-2 draw over the weekend, leaving it second in the Eastern Conference with 38 points from 18 games. De Bruyne joined Napoli as a free agent last year after 10 years at Manchester City. In the 2025/26 season, he has played 21 matches at club level in all competitions, scoring five goals and picking up four assists. His contract runs until summer 2027, and Transfermarkt values him at €10 million.
