Trabzonspor closing in on Mohamed Salah as Besiktas refuse to back down

Trabzonspor is closing in on a deal for Mohamed Salah. Reports say the Turkish club is confident of completing the biggest signing in its history by bringing in the 34-year-old Egyptian winger. Besiktas, however, remains in the fight. The Istanbul side believes its financial offer is the most attractive one on the table and is determined not to let the forward slip away. Salah has been a free agent since leaving Liverpool at the end of last season. During his time with the Merseyside club, he won two English league titles, plus the Champions League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
