Real Madrid set €150m price for Vinícius Júnior as Arsenal circle
0
Real Madrid are prepared to sell Vinícius Júnior for around €150 million if contract talks break down, according to ESPN.
The Brazilian winger's future has been one of the big talking points at the Bernabéu, and the next few days look decisive. Sources say a key round of negotiations between Madrid officials and Vinícius's camp is scheduled for this week, with the club having improved its offer to around €22 million per year. That, however, is described as Real's final proposal.
Vinícius, whose current deal runs until the summer of 2027, is holding out for close to €30 million a season. That gap in expectations is why the two sides have yet to reach an agreement.
Real's stance is clear: they do not want to run the risk of letting him enter the final year of his contract without a resolution. If no deal is reached, they will listen to offers, but only for a fee in the region of €150 million.
Arsenal continue to show genuine interest in the Brazilian, although no formal bid has been made. Still, both parties remain hopeful that a compromise can be found and that a departure will not be necessary.
