Real Madrid close to €180m double deal for Diomande and Rodri

Real Madrid are preparing a major statement in the transfer market. According to Marca, the Madrid club is close to securing RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande and will then shift its focus to Manchester City midfielder Rodri. The two deals are expected to cost more than €180 million combined. Madrid are set to pay over €120 million for the 19-year-old Ivorian, while the 30-year-old Spanish midfielder is valued at between €50 million and €60 million. During the current window, Madrid have already added Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konaté, Bernardo Silva, Marc Cucurella and Carlos Espi. José Mourinho has been in charge of the team since the start of June.
