Hato Backs Alonso to Make Chelsea Trophy Contenders Again

Chelsea defender Jorrel Hato has backed the club's decision to hand Xabi Alonso the head coach job, saying the Spaniard can help the Blues compete for trophies again. Alonso took charge of the side ahead of the new campaign and has signed a contract that keeps him at the club until 2030. "Xabi is a great coach, and under him we will have a chance to fight for silverware. Of course, it's still early to think about that, but I'm confident we can achieve something special this season," Hato said through the club's press service.
