Oleksii Sych: Dynamo is a big club, and I'm ready to give everything

Oleksii Sych has shared his thoughts ahead of Dynamo Kyiv's first match in the third qualifying round of the Conference League against Qarabag. The game is scheduled for August 6 with a 20:00 Kyiv time kickoff. The newly arrived defender says settling in has been straightforward. Since he already knows many of his teammates from the Ukraine national team, he feels close to the group already. "Everything has gone well. I know a lot of the guys from playing for Ukraine, so there hasn't really been any need for an adaptation period. I'm slowly becoming one of the group," Sych said, according to Dynamo's press service. Sych also spoke about the painful loss to PAOK in the previous round of European competition. He insisted the squad has kept its confidence and is ready to move forward. "Of course, we suffered a tough loss to PAOK, but we keep going in the direction we want. The mood in the team is positive and determined. We're ready to show our best game," he said. The newcomer was also asked about the pressure that comes with playing for one of Ukraine's most decorated clubs. For Sych, that pressure is a positive force, and he is not letting outside noise affect him. "Pressure is a positive thing, it makes you stronger. I don't feel it yet and I don't read comments. Dynamo is a big club, so I want to show myself as well as possible. I'll give 100 percent, or even 200," Sych added.
