Sporting Lisbon have agreed a deal to sign Nestory Irankunda, with the Australian winger set to leave Watford. According to Fabrizio Romano, every detail of the transfer has now been settled and the move is in its final stage.
The Portuguese club will pay a guaranteed €15 million, with add-ons pushing the package beyond €18 million. Irankunda is expected to sign a five-year contract. Bayern Munich and Watford have also resolved the legal details around the sell-on percentage, and the player is preparing to travel to Lisbon for his medical.
Last season, the winger made 40 club appearances, scoring four goals and registering four assists. At this year's World Cup, he played four games for Australia and scored once, finding the net against Turkey - Australia's first goal of the 2026 tournament.
