Gurbanov: Qarabag lacked pace in loss to Dynamo Kyiv

Qarabag head coach Gurban Gurbanov reflected on his team's 1-0 loss to Dynamo Kyiv in the first leg of the Conference League third qualifying round. According to Gurbanov, Dynamo were compact at the back and dangerous on the break, which forced Qarabag into a game they struggled to control. The coach admitted his side should have been quicker and mentioned the heat as a possible reason. The team will now return to Baku, where the squad will review the performance and build toward the return fixture. Gurbanov says there are five or six days before that game.
