Russian strike on Odesa stadium forces UPL to postpone Chornomorets vs Kolos

Chornomorets' match against Kolos has been postponed after the club's stadium in Odesa was damaged in a Russian strike, the Ukrainian Premier League's official website said. The Round 2 fixture was due to take place on Saturday, August 8. The UPL directorate reviewed the situation and ruled to move the game to a later date because of force majeure, citing clause 16, article 9 of the competition regulations. A new date and kickoff time will be announced later. According to preliminary reports, two people sustained minor injuries in the attack.
