Leganés signs Luca Zidane after Granada exit

Leganés has confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Luca Zidane. The son of legendary Zinedine Zidane left Granada as a free agent and put pen to paper on a 1+1 deal with his new club. The 28-year-old Algerian has previously played for Eibar, Rayo Vallecano, Racing Santander and Real Madrid. He has 10 caps for Algeria and represented the country at the 2026 World Cup. Luca is one of Zinedine Zidane's four sons. Enzo, 31, has retired, Theo, 24, plays for Córdoba, and Elyaz, 20, is with Red Star. Their father recently took charge of France. Leganés plays in Spain's second division and travels to Girona on Sunday, August 16.
