Andriy Dombrovskyi has decided to end his playing career. The 30-year-old Ukrainian midfielder confirmed the news in an Instagram post. His final club was Termalica in Poland, which he left in the summer of 2025. In his farewell message, Dombrovskyi thanked everyone who had been part of his football journey: teammates, coaches, club staff, medical teams and supporters. He also paid tribute to his family - his wife, daughter, parents and brother - for their love, support and patience, saying football had been his life since childhood and had given him more than he could have imagined. He started out at Illichivka, later joined Kyiv Arsenal and then played for Desna Chernihiv before moving to Poland in 2022. Dombrovskyi leaves the game with 253 appearances, five goals and six assists. The biggest achievement of his career was winning the First League title with Kyiv Arsenal in the 2017/18 season.
