Arsenal signs Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle in four-year deal

Arsenal has signed Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle. The 28-year-old Brazilian midfielder has agreed to a four-year contract with the London club. According to earlier reports, the transfer fee is £75 million, which comes to roughly €87.5 million. Guimarães will wear the No. 39 shirt for his new team. Guimarães moved to Newcastle in the winter of 2022, joining from Lyon in a deal worth about €50.1 million. Last season, the Brazilian made 41 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals and adding seven assists.
