|MatchShyshchenko: Bukovyna were the better side but could not break down Obolon

Serhiy Shyshchenko believes Bukovyna should have taken more from their meeting with Obolon, even though the scoreboard showed 0-0. The Chernivtsi side's head coach was speaking after the Ukrainian Premier League clash on matchday two, and his overall verdict was clear: his team set the tempo, created the better chances, and simply looked the stronger side.
Shyshchenko praised Bukovyna's attacking aggression, their pressing and counterpressing, and the way his players came out on top in individual battles. He admitted there were a couple of shaky moments at the back and some poor decisions in key moments, but the performance left him satisfied.
On Obolon, the coach insisted nothing about the opponent came as a surprise. Having watched their previous game against Epicenter, Bukovyna prepared for either a 4-4-2 or a 5-3-2 setup, and the shape Obolon used ended up giving Bukovyna space to exploit.
Shyshchenko also felt a sense of deja vu. Last season in the First League, Bukovyna opened with two goalless draws before putting together a strong run, and he noted the same pattern is now playing out again. The club's press service carried Shyshchenko's comments.
