Paris Saint-Germain are determined to close a deal for the transfer of Japanese goalkeeper Dzion Suzuki. The management of the French giant went all-in, offering the Italian Parma a package deal, the total amount of which is estimated at 35 million euros. Currently, the negotiations are at the final stage.
PSG have already sent a new official offer and plan to sign the promising goalkeeper to a long-term contract, seeing him as a solid investment in the future of the club. However, one important detail remains unclear in this deal — where exactly Suzuki will start next season.
Currently, an option is being considered, according to which the Japanese player can immediately be loaned to Turin Juventus after signing the contract. The key factor in this matter will be the fate of Luca Chevalier: if he leaves Paris, Dzion will have every chance to stay in the team.
A decisive round of negotiations between the parties is expected to take place early next week. In the camp of the French champions, there is complete confidence that Suzuki's transfer will be successfully completed in the near future.
Last season, the 23-year-old goalkeeper played 22 games for the yellow-blue team in all competitions. The contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. Transfermarkt values the goalkeeper at 20 million euros. Dziona also played four matches for the Japanese national team at this year's World Cup.
We will remind, earlier it became known that PSG signed Luca Dina from Aston Villa.
