Real returned to the candidacy of Submendi

Real Madrid are again interested in Arsenal midfielder Martin Subimendi. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Spaniard could become one of the options to strengthen the Madrid team before the start of the new season. Submendi moved to Arsenal last summer from Real Sociedad. The English club paid about 70 million euros for the transfer, after which the footballer signed a five-year contract. However, Arsenal is not considering parting with the 27-year-old midfielder for a small sum. The Londoners are ready to discuss its sale only for offers of 90 million euros. Real were already interested in Submendi last year, when he was still playing in the Spanish league. Madrid have now returned to his candidacy after failing to agree a deal with Manchester City over Rodri's transfer. Submendi made 57 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions last season. He has six goals and three assists.
