Bayer announced the transfer of Facundo Medina from Marseille. The 27-year-old Argentine defender signed an agreement with the German club until June 30, 2031.
As part of the new club, he will play under the second number.
According to unofficial information, the transfer of the Argentine will cost Bayer 23 million euros in guaranteed payment. A further 2 million euros are foreseen in bonuses, so the total transfer fee could potentially reach 25 million.
Medina belonged to Marseille since the summer of 2025, during which he made 26 appearances and provided one assist. He achieved the greatest success in Lance. He is also a football player of the Argentina national team, with which he became the vice-champion of the world.
