Mudryk agreed to go on loan, but prefers to stay in the EPL — broadcaster

Chelsea are ready to let left winger Mykhailo Mudryk go on loan this summer. According to broadcaster journalist Nizaar Kinsella, the 25-year-old Ukrainian agreed to a temporary transfer to another club before the end of the transfer window on September 1. Mudryk has not played in official matches since November 2024, and now the Londoners consider the loan as an opportunity for the footballer to gradually return to optimal physical conditions and get regular game practice. During Chelsea's pre-season tour of Asia, the Ukrainian played three times in friendly matches — against Juventus, Milan and Johor Darul Tazim. In total, Mudryk spent 39 minutes. One of the possible options for continuing his career is Strasbourg, which, like Chelsea, is owned by BlueCo. However, the football player himself would like to move to another club of the English Premier League. Also, several European teams, in particular representatives of Italian football, are showing interest in Mudryk. Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar in 2023 for an initial fee of £61m, the record transfer fee in the history of Ukrainian football. His contract with the Londoners runs until 2031.
