Getafe are closing in on the return of the Bournemouth striker

0
Turkish striker Enes Unal finally left the Spanish Getafe in the summer of 2024 and, after a one-year loan, moved to the English Bournemouth for 16.5 million euros. However, half a year after that, the 29-year-old performer suffered the second cruciate ligament injury in his career, which significantly worsened his chances of reaching optimal conditions as part of the Cherries. During this time, the footballer played 58 matches, scored five goals and provided four assists. But this summer, Unal decided that he had enough of English adventures and asked the club management for a transfer back to Getafe, for which he played the most matches in his career (109) and showed the highest performance (36+10). Currently, the clubs agree on the amount of the buy-out for a player with two years of active contract, but the position of Unal himself significantly simplifies this process.
