Vechurko set a unique UPL record

Mykola Vechurko entered the history of Ukrainian football by setting a unique record in the Premier League. The match against the Left Bank was the 34-year-old player's first in the UPL after a break of 11 years and 294 days. This is the longest break between matches in the history of Ukrainian championships among players who returned to performances in the elite division. Vechurko surpassed the previous achievement by seven days, which belonged to Denys Kovba. The last time Mykola appeared on the field in a match of the highest division was on October 18, 2014, when he defended the colors of Uzhgorod Hoverla in a match against Kyiv Dynamo.
