Arsenal renewed their interest in Konsa

Arsenal have resumed work on the transfer of Aston Villa centre-back Ezri Konsa. According to broadcaster journalist Samy Mokbel, the London club is again considering the 28-year-old Englishman as one of the main candidates for strengthening the defense. Arsenal's first approach to the player this summer did not end in success. The Londoners were ready to offer around £30m, while Aston Villa value their player at around £60m. Arsenal now realize they will have to significantly increase their bid to complete the deal. Konsa attracted the attention of the coaching staff with his versatility, because he is able to act both in the center of the defense and in other positions of the defensive line. The Englishman made 48 appearances in all competitions last season and helped Aston Villa win the Europa League.
