Vinicius Junior was booed by Deportivo fans during a pre-season match against Real Madrid. The Brazilian started the match in the starting line-up for Madrid, who secured a narrow 1-0 victory. According to Madrid Universal, almost every touch of Vinicius on the ball was accompanied by a negative reaction from the local fans. The whistle was also directed at other Real Madrid players. In particular, the stands reacted to the actions of Brazilian striker Endrik and Spanish defender Alvaro Carreras. At the same time, in their case, the reaction of the fans was directly related to individual episodes of the match. This is not the first time Vinicius has faced such a reaction at away stadiums. During the 2025/26 season, the Brazilian became the object of abuse from Osasuna fans.
