Immobile announced his retirement

Italian striker Ciro Immobile announced the end of his professional career the day before. It happened during a team meeting of the French club Paris, where the 36-year-old performer spent the last six months. During his professional career, Immobile managed to play for Italian Lazio, Juventus, Torino, Pescara, Genoa, Grosseto, Bologna, Siena and Sorrento, Turkish Besiktas, Borussia Dortmund, Andalusian Sevilla and FC Paris itself. He has a total of 656 matches, 350 goals and 82 assists. Ciro became the top scorer of Serie A four times (2013/14, 2017/18, 2019/20, 2021/22), was recognized as the best player of the season of Serie A-2019/20, won the title of European Champion-2020, won the Italian Cup-2018/19, the Italian Super Cup (2017/18, 2019/20), German Cup-2014/15 and Turkish Super Cup-2024/25.
